CAMP LÊN ĐƯỜNG CANADA 2006

Thank you EVERYONE for making Len Duong Canada a great success! Everyone, yes, everyone from the campers, to the speakers, to the staff, to the sponsors, to the Crieff Hills team did an amazing job to make Len Duong Canada a smashing reality. With all the enthusiasm, teamwork, love, and SYNERGY at camp, we were all able to leave with a renewed sense of pride in our capable Vietnamese-Canadian Community. VCSA Toronto encourages everyone to get involved in their local Vietnamese community and would like to leave you with the words of our keynote speaker, Mr. Nam Nguyen:

"When making ham and eggs, keep in mind two things:

the chicken is involved, but the pig is committed."

New: Len Duong Canada Forum

Thanks to our friend Tuan (a.k.a. Crou-tuan) of Open Space Marketing in Ottawa, we now have a Len Duong Canada forum. Please feel free to use it to discuss your thoughts, feelings, suggestions, etc for Len Duong Canada. Early feedback from LDC 2006 includes:

• This is a Viet camp, but why no Viet food?

• The activity packed schedule is nice, but more free time might be even nicer.

• Website updates should be made more often. Webmasters' note: agreed - that group of webmasters are a bunch of bums.

• An online forum should be set up so we have a medium to collaborate with one another. Ta-da!

• That counselour Tho is a good dancer and is really cute. Is he single?

Len Duong Canada 2006 Reunion

Wanna spend an afternoon eating, networking, mingling and having fun with Canada's Vietnamese youth?

So do we, so make yourself available on Sunday, June 23rd from 3-8 PM. It will be an informal afternoon to bond and have a good time.

All food will be provided by us, so come eat, drink, and be merry!

The first ever Len Duong Camp in Canada will be held June 30 to July 3, 2006 at Crieff Hills Retreat & Conference Centre in Puslinch, Ontario.
