SCIENCE SCHOLARSHIP

What is the prize?

The recipient of this scholarship will receive a $500.00 cheque from VCSA-Toronto

**Scholarship recipient must attend camp to collect the prize**

Who can participate?

1. You currently work and/or study in any field of science (life science, social science, computer science, etc...)
2. You demonstrate exceptional achievement in and/or have made significant contributions to this field.

Requirements:

• Submit a 500 word essay in Vietnamese or English that addresses 1 or all of the following questions:
  • How can people of Vietnamese descent contribute to the various fields of Science?
  • Is it important for Vietnamese people to be among the top leaders in this field?
  • Why or why not?
  • What could this mean forVietnamese Canadians and Vietnamese in Vietnam? (Please specify which science field you are referring to)
• Submit an autobiographical profile of yourself that is less than 250 words.

Essay Format and Length:

12 pt Times New Roman font, 500 words or less.

When is the deadline?

June 05th, 2006.

How to submit?

Submit an electronic copy by email with your name, address, email, and camper ID (if you’ve already registered) to: vcsatoronto@vcsatoronto.com

OR

Mail your printed essays along with soft copies on a CD to:
