The Grant Workshop is one of many activities that Team Houston is providing for the Asian American Community in Houston. Team Houston includes representatives from 23 federal, state and local government agencies (Environment Protection Agency (EPA) is the team leader and Housing Urban Development (HUD) is one of the partners) working together to address the issue and concerns of the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities in Houston area.
The purpose of this workshop is to provide some techniques on how to prepare and write a grant proposal and how to get the grants from federal resources to build assisted-living housing for senior citizens and people with disabilities; and also to cover the tips and techniques to apply for the EPA’s Environment Justice’s Small Grants.
